About the FAA LADD Program

LADD stands for Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed. It is an FAA program that allows aircraft owners and operators to request that their flight data be withheld from public display feeds sourced from FAA data.

When an aircraft is on the LADD list, any service that relies on FAA source data is required to block (i.e. not display) that aircraft. Aircraft tracked from independent ADS-B receiver networks — such as TheAirTraffic.com and ADS-B Exchange — are not subject to this restriction.

  • The FAA updates the list on a weekly basis (Tuesdays).
  • This site tracks two lists: the Industry list (the primary block list) and the FAA Source list.
  • An aircraft can move on and off the list over time; we record the first and last dates we observed it.
